Bhairahawa / Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has opened ticket booking for regular flights to Hong Kong and Delhi from Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) located in Bhairahawa, transiting Kathmandu from today.
There is a plan to start one flight every Tuesday from Bhairahawa and increase the number of flights according to the market demand and market management of the corporation. According to the flight schedule, the flight will depart from Bhairahawa at 8:15AM and land in Kathmandu at 9:00AM.
Passengers going to Hong Kong after transit will board the flight to Hong Kong and passengers flying to Delhi will board the connecting flight of the NAC to New Delhi. According to the NAC, the boarding pass to the destinations are given at the time of check-in and the luggage is taken directly to the destination for the convenience of passengers.
The NAC management has decided to take a special initiative to resume flights from the GBIA, which was built under the project of National Pride, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. The NAC said that passengers can easily travel by purchasing tickets from the NAC's office or the NAC's website or from the nearest travel agency.
