Bajura / One person has been killed and at least 13 people have been injured due to strong earthquake tremors that jolted in Western Nepal on Tuesday.
Dozens of houses have been damaged due to the earthquake.
According to local police, ten houses and a school in Bajura district have been completely damaged due to earthquakes that jolted Bajhang district on Tuesday afternoon.
It is reported that hundreds of houses have been partially damaged in the earthquakes.
According to Chief District Office of Bajura, Bhim Kanta Paudel, rescue teams have been deployed in the field. No human casualty is reported yet.
Strong earthquake tremors were felt in several parts of Western Nepal today.
National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center said two earthquakes — the first with a 5.3 magnitude at 2:40 pm local time and the second with a magnitude of 6.3 at 3:06 pm– occurred making Bajhang district the epicenter.
