Kathmandu : Following the successful Blue Streaks Chapter Leader Onboarding Event, Yamaha, through its distributor MAW Rides, organized a Basic Road Marshal Training for its chapter leaders from across Nepal. This training marked a significant step in equipping Yamaha Blue Streaks leaders with essential skills to lead safe and organized touring and group rides.
The training, conducted by the Training & Marshal Commission of Nepal Automobiles Association (NASA), focused on the fundamentals of road safety, group ride management, and effective communication. The session provided practical insights into ensuring smooth and secure rides, fostering a culture of responsibility and safety within Yamaha’s rider community.
Participants included Yamaha Blue Streaks leaders from Surkhet, Itahari, Kathmandu (Pepsicola, Maharajgunj, Kalanki), Bhaktapur, Sindhuli, Pokhara, and other regions. Through interactive modules and real-world scenarios, the training aimed to empower these leaders to take on the role of road marshals, ensuring that Yamaha ride-out events and community rides are both enjoyable and incident-free.
Mr. Deepak Kumar Agrawal, Executive Director & CEO of MAW Rides, shared his thoughts on the initiative, "Leadership isn’t just about guiding; it’s about responsibility. This training underscores Yamaha’s commitment to empowering our Blue Streaks leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to lead rides confidently and safely. Together, we’re creating a culture where passion for riding meets the highest standards of safety."
This training session reflects Yamaha’s broader vision for the Blue Streaks program, which is dedicated to nurturing leadership and promoting a strong sense of community among its riders. By investing in road marshal training, Yamaha ensures that its leaders are not only ambassadors of the brand but also advocates for road safety and responsible riding.
Blue Streaks is Yamaha Nepal’s flagship rider community initiative, fostering connections among Yamaha owners across the country. It emphasizes community-driven leadership, rider safety, and the shared passion for adventure and camaraderie that define the Yamaha spirit.
